Rachel checked off her fourth sacrament in April with confirmation at St. Francis of Assisi parish. Like many activities during the ongoing pandemic things were done differently. First all the preparation sessions were done via Zoom meetings so there were no gatherings or retreats. Second the mass was socially distanced with masks worn at all times. Only immediate family members and sponsors were allowed to join in person. Those who couldn't attend were able to watch online. It currently can be found here. (Rachel is anointed at 43:22). The bishop asked some of the candidates if they were considering becoming a priest or nun, but Rachel was relieved to not be asked.
