Colorado Trip - Hanging Out

When we weren't playing in the snow, we hung out at Mark and Cindy's place in Fort Collins. My niece Amy, her dog Max and Tigger the cat were there too. The town of Fort Collins is home to Colorado State University where my brother teaches for their ROTC program. We toured the town, the university and got to see my brother's office.

At the end of our visit, we headed to Denver to check out the city. We took in an IMAX movie. We found Denver to be amazingly dull. While we were touring the state capital, we discovered that Denver is a city that is living a lie. The supposedly "Mile High City" isn't a mile high. To get a mile above sea level they had to build steps at their capitol building to reach such an altitude. Oh the shame of such boasts!
