2004 Road Trip

Driving Through Utah

On the first day of our road trip we made it to Brigham City, Utah which is just north of Salt Lake City. We were on the road early the next day and made Salt Lake City our first stop. We took a free "tour" of Temple Square which holds a large Mormon temple and tabernacle. The square was neat and clean, but not that exciting.

We were soon were back on the highway heading south. Halfway through Utah, we headed east towards Colorado. Here the landscape changed from snowy mountains to red rock formations and cliffs. Of the various scenic rest areas, we stopped at Devil's Canyon which had some fun rocks for me to climb on and for Jamie to get nervous about.
