England Trip - Liverpool

After nearly a week in East Anglia we took a long drive to Liverpool. Before reaching the city we took a short detour through the town of Haydock. There wasn't anything interesting to see other than it was Jamie's maiden name. We got a library card for her dad, drove through the town and continued on to Liverpool.

Liverpool had more to offer than Beatles lore, but that's all we had time to check out during our visit. We first went the Beatles Story which is a museum focusing on the history of the band. More interesting was the Beatles taxi tour that we took afterwards. The driver took us to all the places where band members grew up and hung out. We also drove though Penny Lane and stopped at Strawberry Fields both of which are Beatles songs.
