Yellowstone/Grand Teton Trip - Yellowstone 2

The road from the Tower Falls area was temporarily closed as fire crews made preparations for the fire. Once the road opened we were told not make stops as the fire would be close by. Along the drive we got good views of the fire and watched some trees ignite as the fire grew. Once past the fire we headed back across the park to our hotel in West Yellowstone.

The next day we headed back to the Old Faithful area to see more of the geysers. We got to see the Riverside Geyser erupt which was one of the more impressive geysers as it went on for 20 minutes. We then drove to Biscuit Basin which had more geysers and pools to view, but we hiked further up the Little Firehole River to see Mystic Falls.
