Our week at Chelan this year included 4th of July and Brad and Sandy's deck provided an excellent viewing of the Manson fireworks. The rest of the week consisted of very hot weather with most days at or above 100F. The heat kept us inside more often than previous summers, but that didn't stop the girls from their daily pilgrimage to the outdoor pool. We also got in a solid afternoon of wine tasting with the kids in tow. At the end of the week our vacation had only just started. We returned home for just 18 hours to clean up and repack for a two week road trip in California.
