In the spirit of REI's Opt Outside initiative when went snowshoeing at Paradise on the day after Thanksgiving. Not only was it a sunny day, we also got free admission to the park as they were also supporting Opt Outside. It was Lily and Vivian's first time snowshoeing on their own. We barely made it past the parking lot before the girls started getting tired. I pushed them on a little further before stopping for a snack break. The girls soon forgot how tired they were and had fun playing in the snow. It wasn't much of a hike, but it was nice to have the family back up at Rainier.
