For the second year in a row I was able get passes for all four days of PAX. Rachel joined me for three days and Lily joined for one. We did the standard gaming activities including exploring the crowded expo hall which was showing new and upcoming games, attending panels and doing game freeplay on consoles and pcs.
New for this year we participated in a few gaming tournaments. We both competed in an Exploding Kittens card game tournament. Also Rachel played a couple 3DS tournaments. She learned that there are some seriously skilled people who play on the handheld.
We also attended our first PAX concert which was at Benaroya Hall. We listened and watched the band Bit Brigade play rock versions of music from classic Nintendo games while one member did a live speed run. It was a lot of fun and Rachel's first concert.
