Quarantine Spring Break

It had been five years since we last visited Disneyland and the entire family was looking forward to going again for spring break. Unfortunately less than a week before we were to go Rachel tested positive for COVID-19. Though she felt fine the rules from the CDC were to not travel for 10 days after a positive test. It was a sad day when we had to cancel the trip. Fortunately we made the best of our quarantine Easter. In addition to dying and hunting for eggs, Vivian and I got to ski on Easter which was a first. Jamie also made churros and Dole whips, snack staples of Disneyland, to make up a little for our canceled trip. In the end all was not lost as we were able to reschedule our trip for the summer and combine it with an already planned trip to Utah.
