Seattle Bike Tour

For our final ride of the summer, Lance and I rode to Alki and then took the water taxi across the Sound to downtown Seattle. We rode north through the busy Seattle Waterfront area and continued on the trail through Myrtle Edwards Park. I was curious if we could ride all the way to Fremont, so we continued north until the trail joined the Ship Canal Trail, which took us to Fremont. We had traveled further than planned, but Lance was up for going a little further. So we rode a mile more (plus a steep climb at the end) to see the Fremont Troll underneath the Aurora Bridge. We had traveled far, which unfortunately resulted in a long ride home. Lance was in good spirits at the end of the trip, despite riding over 44 miles.
